Two Candidates for President

In this article, the author notes the most important and defining characteristics of each presidential candidate, to show that they are greater human beings, as well as ordinary, law-obeying American citizens, which is one of the things that are crucial for the presidential candidate, because then, the next president will understand the daily struggles American citizens go through.
Further, it shows that Barack Obama makes many decisions similar to that of what many people make which shows the voters that he is very similar to ordinary Americans and that he is more likely to understand the concerns of the citizens. McCain, on the other hand, represents a war hero, a person who stands ready do anything for his country. He represents a brave human being willing to give up his life for his country, fighting two wars at the same time. McCain is portrayed in this way, so the people who are really concerned about the war and homeland security would find a haven in him. This sends out the message to people, whose children are on foreign soil fighting for world peace, promising withdrawal from the war in the coming years. In this article, its easy to see, why both presidents make the decisions they make, and how it benefits the nation. Senator Obama always spoke very smoothly, clearly, yet confidently about his goals and priorities as the future president. Obama’s speeches are always top-notch, direct, while at the same time, enjoyable for the general audience. Obama has a good chance of capturing America's vote for the next president, mainly because of his passionate speeches, leadership skills, and the passion to bring change into the American history.
Things would have been different if John McCain had won the presidential elections of 2008. The healthcare bill would never pass, which would negatively impact millions of low-income families. However, many speculate that if McCain had been elected, the petrol prices would have dramatically dropped. McCain was said to make decisions quickly without thinking twice. This could result in wrong strategic moves, which is quite different from what President Obama would have done. As of this moment, Obama is making slow, but sure progress. In 2008, I supported him, because I thought he was the better man to take the American economy out of the ditch, but he hasn't done much to help it. In my honest opinion, both candidates were good and appropriate to lead the country, but no matter who became elected, we would still have to pay the same high tax. McCain would change things quicker than Obama so I think he’s the good choice for The American president.
I like to learn new things. Moreover, this class helped me to figure out things, that I was not familiar with. I really liked the discussion part as it had new and enjoyable subjects in it. Tasks and assignments are good for me to work on, because they always provided us with good knowledge. All of those web sites we used to find articles; blogs etc helped me to learn new subjects and grammar. Especially the starting was difficult for me as I did really bad and I got bad grades.
