U.S. Seeing More Female Homeless Veterans

I have read an article about a United States Army war veteran, Angela Peacock, who became homeless after honorable discharge from the army, because of her illness. In these hard times, her husband left her instead of helping her. She had nowhere to go; she stayed with each friend for a short amount of time. While sick, she started taking illicit drugs in hopes of feeling better. Experts said that at the rate6 of homeless veterans rising day by day, the estimated homeless veterans are 131,000. and 12 percent of homeless veterans are younger than age of 34. The War against Terrorism has affected the US economy and the employment in negative ways. Even though Angela Peacock was in the army she was raped by an army officer, because of his higher post, Angela said. The Outreach System wants to help all veterans before they become homeless and unemployed. The VA program helped Angela Peacock by giving her a dog and some financial help.
After reading this article, I got felt true sympathy for homeless people and now I know why they end up on the streets. I've read many other articles on the internet about sports, movies, health, and other various topics, but this article’s title was very dissimilar and it was kind of odd. When I saw that the US army officer became homeless, I was shocked and in disbelief. The interesting thing in this article was the news about the US army that gives me an idea how hard life could be in the army. Even though she was in the US army, no one helped her in this painful time. When she became homeless, the VA program helped her by providing aid. Interview between Katie Couric and Howard Schultz

Katie Couric, who started the interview with Howard Schultz, CEO of Starbucks, by asking him that "Why can't he say small, medium and large like normal people?" Howard Schultz, who ordered the coffee in different away because he would like to give us an idea about how talented his employees are. Also he said that “*70,000 different ways that our customers can order a Starbucks coffee” he believes that a Starbucks coffee can be ordered in any accent or by several names, there is no hard work for customers.
Howard Schultz said that he didn’t know that economy will drop so badly. Howard Schultz said that if they had a little bit information on the subject of the economy subsequently they would have prepared something in a different way. So Howard Schultz, who tried to said that he didn’t know that the economy will hurt his business besides others business.
On the subject of the recession, he said that his company had no plans. After reading the entire article, I didn’t cover any comments about price drops of the coffee. In my opinion, company should reduce their coffee prices because companies like Dunkin Donuts provide a tough competition for Starbucks. The company had to lower the prices of their coffee in order to make their store successful and economically attractive to the customers. I believe that Starbucks should lower their price rather than lay off their employees; they could also pay them less. By closing many stores and downsizing their business, they resolved the problem.
Nowadays, Starbucks tries to attract their customers by giving discounted gift cards. Howard Schultz said that he might have new machines installed into his stores so the employees would work quicker. I believe that one of the causes of economic collapse lies in the fact that every single business had bad time making profit. It's not a problem of Starbucks, but rather of every single business. If the economy becomes strong again, businesses will profit again.

Two teachers

In both of these cases, teachers are left out of their jobs because they went out of the rule to teach their students the reality. Many teachers follow the same material others have put together for them to follow. The teacher in the first case is fired because she used a book that uses swear words, which is not allowed by the school program. The teacher did follow the right steps to inform the parents of the students before using the book in class but still got fired as it was not approved by the syllabus director. In the second case the teacher took a class to an art museum that had nude art and got complains about the trip from the parents. She was fired too even though she followed all the required steps to take her class on a field trip.
Over all I think, it is the teachers that are right on these two issues as they went outside to the box to teach their students what reality is. Most of the time during middle and high school, the curriculum is set without keeping the reality in our mind but one way or other children learn everything. Also I think it is defiantly better to teach students about everything including swearing and nudity, because that way one knows what the stand for and they can chose not to use swear words or how to approach nudity. If we don’t teach such things at school, children learn them from outside, where its impact is more negative than positive. I believe that these teachers should not only be given their jobs back but should also be part of making the new syllabus as they not only work for their pay but work for true learning of their students.

Things would have been different if John McCain had won the presidential elections of 2008. The healthcare bill would never pass, which would negatively impact millions of low-income families. However, many speculate that if McCain had been elected, the petrol prices would have dramatically dropped. McCain was said to make decisions quickly without thinking twice. This could result in wrong strategic moves, which is quite different from what President Obama would have done. As of this moment, Obama is making slow, but sure progress. In 2008, I supported him, because I thought he was the better man to take the American economy out of the ditch, but he hasn't done much to help it. In my honest opinion, both candidates were good and appropriate to lead the country, but no matter who became elected, we would still have to pay the same high tax. McCain would change things quicker than Obama so I think he’s the good choice for The American president.
I like to learn new things. Moreover, this class helped me to figure out things, that I was not familiar with. I really liked the discussion part as it had new and enjoyable subjects in it. Tasks and assignments are good for me to work on, because they always provided us with good knowledge. Introduction

My name is Jagmohan Singh and people call me “Jag” because it’s easy to pronounce. I was born and raised in an India. I am from a Punjabi which is a part of Indian religion. I can speak five languages and can write only three which are Punjabi, English, Hindi, Bagri, Rajasthani and now I’m learning little bit Spanish too.
 I come to the Unites states with many dreams, some of them I have already achieved and some way to go. Mine first dream came true when I graduate from an American high school. Graduate from high school is kind of tough work for me in the beginning but I did it by very bravely. I have had a hard time learning English because when I moved here, I didn’t even speak a word of English. I have been trying real hard to learn English and now I am able to communicate with others without any trouble. 
My hobbies are playing cricket and wrestling and I am into those since I was in middle school. Last two years I have wrestled for Monta Vista High School. I love wrestling because I experience wrestling is very beneficial and enjoyable sport I have done. My goal is in life was to became a professional wrestler. Some time I love to barbeque with my friends since I have entered into the United States. Whenever people eat barbeque which I have made for them, they always love it and ask me for the respe. I add lemon juice, barbeque sauce, salt and bunch of other things in meat at night and put in freezer for whole night. Next day all the sauces bond with meat and barbeque taste become very superb.
